It is fine and often ok to have frownline treatment without treating the forehead. Unless the patient
has a tendency to have an ‘omega frown’, meaning a frown that has an approximation and lifting of
the inside eyebrows as simultaneously there is lowering of the outer eyebrow which resembles the
Greek letter “Omega”.
But, having forehead treatment while neglecting to have an assessment on patient’s frownline can
lead to an incomplete look in the upper 1/3 of the face. Over time, it can also cause more sever
frownline which can become harder and more expensive to reverse.
